The objective of this course is to prepare the student for all three levels of the D.E.L.E (Diploma de Espanol como Lengua Extranjera) exam.
The course consists of two hours of grammar, two hours of conversation and an extra hour of exam practice. During the first two hours, students will work with a course book aimed at their level of Spanish (A1, A2, B1, B2, C1, C2). These course books are designed and written by linguists with a great deal of experience in teaching Spanish as a foreign language. They follow the objectives and learning activities specified in the curriculum published by the Cervantes Institute.
The conversation classes encourage the students to communicate with one another orally and aim to equip students with the skills needed to manage everyday situations in Spanish. They are also an excellent way of applying and reinforcing the grammar classes.
The D.E.L.E courses are designed to give the student the specific language skills required to overcome any difficulties in the exam, and to give them an idea of the kind of questions they will come up against. The teacher will go over the structure of the exam, the instructions on each exercise and the amount of time they should spend on each question. One of the main objectives of this course is to familiarise the student with the exam they are about to take. The exercises given in these classes will therefore mirror those given in the exam. Students will work with past exam papers and specialist course material.
Exam fees are not included in the price. Please remember that the enrolment dates for this exam are in November and May.
