Writing and reading workshop

Once in a week we provide the students with a reading workshop to improve their pronunciation and intonation in Spanish language. A well prepared teacher will lead this workshop.

Texts from novels and other works of classic ‘Golden Age’ Spanish literature will be chosen, besides national newspapers; selected texts will be read aloud and the teacher will correct mistakes in pronunciation and intonation. Especially chosen will be poems from Spanish rich literature, like Quevedo, Gongora, Becquer, Lorca or Machado. The different rimes and intonation will be deeply studied.

In the writing workshop, on the other hand, students will learn new written expressions, different styles and spelling, with advice from our writing and journalist consultant. At this workshop you will learn to write essays and compositions which will help you to improve and master writing skills. Learning how to make a curriculum vitae or how to write a journalist article are some of the examples of activities in these interesting writing workshops.
